RideFinders Wins Two Awards from the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT)

Recently, RideFinders was awarded the Best Social Media Marketing and Best Overall Marketing Campaign awards by the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT), which recognizes and honors outstanding achievements in the use of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) strategies to improve transportation options for commuters.
“We are extremely proud of this accomplishment. This is a win for our commuters, community, stakeholders, grantors and partners in our region. We thank them all for their continued support,” said Von Tisdale, RideFinders Executive Director.
For this year’s 36th Annual International Conference, over 80 nominations were received for 11 awards. The awards were presented on the final day of the conference on August 3, 2022.
The Best Social Media Marketing award was presented for its “Ways We Go: RideFinders Youth Sustainability Outreach Campaign” which used grassroots marketing to emphasize family-friendly, educational, interactive activities focused on various transportation modes such as biking and walking, green sustainability activities such as recycling, co-joined with early literacy development. The Best Overall Marketing Campaign was presented for its “It’s a Green Thing” campaign which used creative grassroots marketing, organic social media and website content to increase awareness of the organization’s employer services, to encourage the use of green transportation options and environmental stewardship.
