RideFinders Wins Two Awards from the Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America

RideFinders is the proud recipient of two awards from the Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America which were announced during a virtual ceremony. “The “Ways We Go: Youth Sustainability Outreach” campaign received a Commonwealth Award, Award of Merit in the Public Service category which honors programs that advance public understanding of societal issues, problems or concerns. RideFinders also received a Commonwealth Award, Award of Merit in the Shoe String Budget (campaigns planned, implemented and executed for $5,000 or less) for the “It’s A Green Thing” campaign.

“We wanted to publicly thank everyone that participated in our programs to help make them successful and our stakeholders for their continued support,” said Von Tisdale, Executive Director of RideFinders, “These awards are also a great public acknowledgement of the innovation, creativity, resilience and dedication of the RideFinders team because the work was done in-house utilizing staff ingenuity and skill sets.”

The Commonwealth Award recognizes exceptional public relations programs or campaigns. These entries capture how companies and organizations have changed attitudes or behaviors or incited a desired action. Programs follow the four-step process and have measurable goals and objectives.

These awards are just the latest in a series of honors that RideFinders has received this year. The “Ways We Go: Youth Sustainability Outreach” campaign has won two additional awards and the It’s A Green Thing” campaign has won three additional awards from other organizations.
