Walk It Out with Team RideFinders

Walking is a ZERO emissions activity and is an easy way to incorporate physical activity into your daily life. During the month of June, we encourage you to Walk It Out with Team RideFinders. Walking is a great physical activity that doesn’t require any special equipment. Whether you’re walking your furry friend, walking to lose weight or simply walking to enjoy some fresh air after a day of teleworking, Team RideFinders encourages you to Walk It Out (while maintaining good physical distancing). Try walking at least 5,000 steps a day to start or try walking at least 30 minutes a day! If you can’t walk for 30 minutes at one time, try walking in intervals. If you’re already walking a minimum of 5,000 steps then challenge yourself to walk 10,000 steps a day! TAG us and share your walking pictures or videos on social media!

Walking increases your cardiovascular (heart) and pulmonary (lung) fitness, improves your balance, strengthens your bones, burns calories and helps manage weight. Walk with your family; it’s a low-impact form of exercise for all ages that is earth-friendly! Get out, WALK and celebrate Earth Day, EVERY DAY!
