We Read Wednesdays During National Family Literacy Month
Nov 18, 2020
Did you know that November is designated as National Family Literacy Month? The month offers an opportunity to emphasize the important role that families play in the education of their children. Studies show that reading aloud (with mom or dad) is the most important activity when it comes to preparing children to read on their own. This is a great time to spend time reading and reading aloud not just with mom or dad, but with other family members! Listen to our Executive Director, Von, read "Amelia Bedelia Hits the Trail" by Herman Parish with pictures by Lynne Avril. Here’s an idea to REUSE books - donate old or used books you no longer need. *We do not own the rights to this book.
